How to join a free team folder

If you'd like to join a free team folder, we got you!

The easiest way to join a folder is to click the folder link that your leader or the folder admin gives you, then follow the prompts. Let's look at what those steps are:
  1. Click the link from your mobile device, not a desktop computer as free access is only available on the app at this time.

  2. Click the link - which will open a browser like Chrome or Safari - 
    If you click the link from a Facebook post or message, it may open up the Facebook browser which can be problematic. We recommend opening the link in Chrome or Safari. 



  3. Signup for your new free account




  4. Check your email and open the "Geniechat Email Verification" email. 
    If you don't see it, check your spam folder.




  5. Copy or remember the 4-digit code that you will input into the Geniechat




  6. Enter the code into the screen



  7. You'll see the screen again with the folder and free access, click Get Free Access Now again as the system now knows who you are and what account to give the new free folder:



  8. Now, choose which app store you'd like to get Geniechat from depending on your device. Even if you already have Geniechat on your mobile phone, still click the app store you use.



  9. Be sure to click "Allow" so your phone will open Geniechat from the app store or Google Play store:



  10. Now that Geniechat is on your mobile device, it's time to login to your new free account! Use the email and password you just created.



  11. Click the Snippet Library from the menu bar. You will now see a new folder in your Geniechat account. That's it!
